Tyler Michael Smith is a Nashville-based composer, producer, and arranger whose diverse body of work spans film, television, and contemporary Christian music. Raised in Nashville, Tyler began playing piano at age five and composing his own material in his teens. To date, he has scored 16 feature films, in addition to composing music for commercials, short films, documentaries, and branded content. His work has been featured by major companies such as Sony Pictures, Carmike Cinemas, Lifetime, Coca-Cola, Cinemacon, and Great American Family Network. Known for his cinematic style and emotional depth, Tyler’s compositions have earned praise for their ability to enhance storytelling and create lasting impact.

Tyler has also arranged music for prominent artists like Michael W. Smith, CeCe Winans, Charity Gale, and Guy Penrod, with his arrangements celebrated for their lush orchestration and emotional resonance. As a keyboardist, he has toured with Michael W. Smith, 4HIM, and Guy Penrod, honing his live performance skills and collaborating with some of the most influential names in contemporary Christian music.

A Dove Award-nominated producer, Tyler is known for blending classical training with modern sensibilities, creating music that spans multiple genres while remaining emotionally powerful. Alongside his wife, Sarah, Tyler forms a husband-and-wife duo with a passion to create music that glorifies God and spreads the love of Jesus. The couple leads worship regularly at their church and headlined a music tour in Italy with acclaimed tenor Jonathan Cilia Faro. Together, they are deeply committed to using their music to bring light, hope, and healing to the world.

Tyler and Sarah currently reside in Nashville with their five children, continuing to inspire others through their music, ministry, and faith-based projects.
